Via Digital Inspiration, you just learned about MovieLink, a great new service and provision where you can download major Hollywood movies. The site is not well-matched with Firefox; which stinks, since according to Market Share Firefox is now in control of 10% of the browser market. You need to have the latest version of Internet Explorer to play with it – if you don’t have it, you can download Internet Explorer.
Anyway, back to MovieLink. What is it and how does it work? From the site:
“Movielink is changing the way America rents and purchases movies. No more trips to the video store. No DVDs to carry or return. Just fast, easy, legal movie downloads direct from the studios that you can watch at home or on the road.”
There’s two ways to watch these movies: you can rent them for up to 30 days or you can out and out buy them. And there’s nothing to pick up or mail or any of that mess; you’re downloading them to your computer. Prices start at 8.99 and go up from there.
