The film industry is a large, money-making industry that includes actors, film directors, film production producers and production companies, film studies, screenwriting, post-production, distribution, and even film festivals. Initially, the film industry was an expensive, high-budget industry. But with the development of more affordable high technology film-making and processing equipment and software, the film industry has evolved to include independent film makers, and digital filmmakers.
